Delving into the realms of sound and self-exploration, time and progress, deleterolf's latest EP explores different concepts of Reflection. While the music stylistically on one hand, draws back through Trance, Slowcore or Triphop elements and progresses in that nostalgic direction, on the other, how those elements are being fused in together dialectically and how the lyrics reflect, are in aesthetic and concept cutting edge at that point. A core motive on “Reflectsound” is Liberation through introspection and time. These reflections are being processed in the music, form-aesthetically in the built-up structure or sound manipulation, as well as verbally, transported through the vocals sung by deleterolf. Through meticulously composed and arranged Tracks, the lyrics float, in a lascivious indecisiveness, one way emotional but also verbalizing into lyrical perspectives. The instrumental or electronic parts are reflecting and referencing on musical reception and production, while the Autotune-veiled vocal parts are processing those reflections and the emotions that are connected to them. “Reflectsound” presents itself as an aesthetically layered EP, playing with stylistically precise compositions accompanied by Concepts that reflect on sound itself but also forms a Project that reflects on itself and in that is as well personal, but still moving through emotional accessibility.
